Life is a continuing circular process. There is no ending or new beginning in between. No rewind. No fast forward. What comes out of the soil has roots. The ocean does not change its waters, the waves just takes a different shape.
Appreciate the content of your soil, acknowledge that which grows out of your hands. Be bold bright and brave. Trust your uniqueness. Love your style.
I left scribbles, scratches, and sketches on the slate, and started 2013 continuing the Organic Matter project I began in 2012. The keyword is reduction. Like a chefs secret stock, left to simmer until the essence of a flavour has been achieved, the Organic Matter has been reduced, colours eliminated, leaving space for essential details.
