The opulent succulents flower

The flower of the succulent plant in my last post. Three pink leaves. Yellow shoes… with braided laces. P.S. I am aware that my use of inappropriate terms reveals my lack of botanical knowledge :) Photos © Anette Hermann.

Opulent Succulent

The colours and aesthetics of unknown plant. I believe it’s a succulent, though the plant doesn’t have thick leaves, but it seems to cope really well in the heat and dryness around here (West Indies), while many others are struggling.

Change

Sometimes, the things you know very well, are not like they use to be. Appreciate the moment of change. Soon enough everything will be just as it was before.     Whatever changes you are going through, I hope

Perhaps not surprising, yet useful tips on fishing.

When you go fishing, make sure your lines are untangled. Check your gear. Check it again. Will the fish smell your rusty hook? Will it cause suspicion? Can fish at all smell? You better get a fresh one, just

Wrinkles in Purple

Purple is a colour intermediate between red and blue. By balancing the two colours, I enhanced the cracks, wrinkles, and imperfections in this purple matter. I’m not familiar with the name of this plant. I believe it’s a weed. Photography

I’ve been tending my latest non-facebook acquaintance. It’s the Silver Argiope I shot last week. In spite of hairy teeth, more eyes and legs than I in general find pleasing, we have a friendship growing. We hangout on a regular
